Water Conservation 22 MAY

NOTICE: - WATER CONSERVATION AWARENESS FOR THE WEEK ENDING 22 MAY 2021

Last week’s average water demand was 156 ML/day against the water rationing limit of 135 ML/day. The average City consumption for the current week measured from the 16th May 2021 is 161 ML/day against system input volume of 160 ML/day. This is an increase of 5 ML/day in water usage from last week. The City’s Water supply dams as at Friday, 21 May 2021 are currently 66.5% full.

In that regard, consumers are being encouraged to continue adhering within their water rationing allocation limits. The graph below demonstrates consumption pattern for the week against system input volume.
