HUMAN CAPITAL DIRECTOR GRADE 15

The following vacancies for senior positions reporting to the Town Clerk have arisen within the City of Bulawayo.

1.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY	Supervises of all Sections in the Department namely, Administration, Rewards and Recognition, Organisation and Methods, Recruitment, Training, Industrial Relations and Gender, Safety and Health Section. Establishes human resources objectives in accordance with organizational goals and legal requirements. Advises departmental heads on labour issues. Develops and implements human resources policies. Facilitates professional development and training activities for staff. Ensures compliance with labour laws and regulations. Manages staff wellness and performance reviews. Handles employee benefits. Submits relevant Council reports. Attends Council Committees and Council meetings.
2. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS	A Degree in Human Resources Management/Administration or equivalent professional qualification. A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent. Must be a corporate member of the Zimbabwe Institute of People Management or similar institution.
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS	At least 10 years practical experience in Human Resource Management. Clean class 4 driver’s licence
