Safety and Health Officer

The following Vacancy has arisen within the City of Bulawayo:

1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY	Coordinates Safety and Health management systems in Council operations. Conducts Safety and Health risk/performance assessments. Audits Council’s activities, programmes and projects. Investigates Safety and Health related complaints. Trains Council employees and stakeholders in Safety and Health. Provides Safety and Health technical guidance and support to departments
2. Qualifications Requirements	A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety and Management, Public Health or equivalent. A clean Class 4 driver’s licence. Must be computer literate.
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS	At least 2 years relevant work experience in Occupational Safety and Health.
