Contract Data Capture Clerk

The following positions have arisen within the City of Bulawayo in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Child Care with support from Global fund:

1. Main Responsibilities/ Job Summary
  • Captures all patients level data for all patients seen at HIV/TB clinics after every visit into the computerized database
  • Archives records in box files upon receipt before and after data entry in an orderly manner as per set system.
  • Undertakes double data entry of all received paper based data as per set standard.
  • Validates data entered for any gaps observed during double data entry.
  • Produces necessary reports from database as required by heads of units at site, district, provincial and national.
  • Types documents.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information collected through the electronic database.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding entered data as requested by relevant site, provincial and national staff.
2. Qualifications Requirements
  • 5 “O” Levels including English Languageand Maths / Accounts.
  • Computer literacy (ICDL certificate will be an added advantage).
  • At least 1 year experience in data capturing environment.
