TOWN CLERK’S DEPARTMENT 2 POSTS

The following Vacancies have arisen within the City of Bulawayo:

INTERNAL AUDITOR – GRADE 9 FORENSIC & FRAUD INVESTIGATIONS (2 POST)

1. Main Responsibilities/ Job Summary	Conducts investigations of alleged misconduct, mismanagement, fraud, corruption, waste or abuse of resources and other violations of City rules and regulations. Prepares complete and concise investigation reports.
2. Qualifications Requirements	A Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Auditing, Investigations or equivalent. A clean class 4 driver’s licence. A relevant professional certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is an added advantage.
3. Experience	At least two (2) years’ experience in an audit/investigatory work environment.

INTERNAL AUDITOR – GRADE 9 (OPERATIONS) - (1 POST)

1. Main Responsibilities/ Job Summary	Reviews the adequacy and effectiveness of the City’s systems, operations and controls, presents audit findings and recommendations in compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations. Undertakes special reviews with respect to various audit operations, including complex operations. Prepares draft audit/ assignment reports.
2. Qualifications Requirements	A Bachelor’s Degree in Auditing/Accounting/Business Management or equivalent. A clean class 4 Driver’s Licence. A professional audit certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is an added advantage.
3. Experience	At least two (2) years’ experience in an audit work environment.
