HOMECRAFT LEADER – GRADE 5 (2 POSTS)

The following Vacancy has arisen within the City of Bulawayo:

1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY	• Plans for theory and practical lessons as per syllabus. • Delivers both practical and theory lessons. • Implements and enforces Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) activities with the centre. • Offers guidance and counselling sessions to trainees. • Monitors and evaluates training progress. • Maintains training inventory of training equipment. • Keeps an up to date register of trainees. • Writes weekly and monthly reports to Senior Community Services Assistant.
2. Qualifications Requirements	• A Diploma in education, food nutrition/Textile Technology and Design/Further Training Certificate in Hotel Catering, Trade Cook Class 1 or relevant.
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS	• At least 2 years’ experience working with community groups.
