PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

HEALTH SERVICES DEPARTMENT.

a. PHARMACY TECHNICIAN -GRADE 7/8-(2 POSTS).

The following positions have arisen within the City of Bulawayo:-

1. Main Responsibilities /Job Summary	• Maintains adequate stock level of drugs and medical supplies by compiling orders and requisitions. • Secures drugs and other pharmaceuticals. • Avoids the expiry of stock drugs. • Assembles, checks, packs and dispatches orders of drugs and other pharmaceuticals to clinics and Thorngrove Hospital. • Maintains proper stock records. • Carries out the manufacturing of drugs under the supervision of the Pharmacist. • Maintains and processes accounting transactions and records related to accounts receivables
2. Qualifications Requirements	• At least 5 `O` Levels including Mathematics, English Language and Science. • A Pharmacy Technician Diploma. • Registered with the Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe. • A clean class 4 driver’s licence.
3. Experience and Skills	• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position. • Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
