PRINCIPAL ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENGINEER

The following Vacancy has arisen within the City of Bulawayo:

1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY	Leads and controls the Electro-Mechanical section. Coordinates maintenance of all Municipal Works and Housing which include sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, sewage pump stations, reclaimed water pump stations, Municipality workshops, clinics, hospitals, schools, stadium, parks, swimming pools, etc. Manages the initiation of capital projects. Prepares project proposals, working drawings and contract documents. Enforces efficient utilization of equipment for completion of projects to be undertaken as programmed. Manages and evaluates projects.. Prepares reports to the Deputy Director of Engineering Services (Water).
2. Qualifications Requirements	A Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognised Institution. Must be a Corporate Member of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE).. A clean class 4 drivers’ licence.
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS	At least 5 years work experience in a similar environment.
