SeniorTechnical Officer

The following Vacancy has arisen within the City of Bulawayo:

1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY	Leads and directs a team of Charge Hands in all the workshops. Inspects reservoirs water levels. Liaises with Water Works Superintendent on the water supply levels. Coordinates bulk water supply into distribution and liaises with Engineers and Zone Managers. Controls stock at sub-stores and authorises requisitions. Manages the Water Workshop Vehicles for effective utilisation. Interprets the water reticulation designs.
2. Qualifications Requirements	An apprenticeship trained journeyman Class 1 in the trade of Plumbing/Drain laying. A clean class 4 drivers’ licence.
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS	At least 5 years work experience in a similar environment.
