The Health Services Department is committed to maintaining and promoting a healthy environment and to provide accessible and affordable health services of high quality to residents of Bulawayo.

The Health Services Department has two branches, the Environmental Health Branch and the Personal Health Branch. The administration section facilitates functioning of the branches by providing various support services and expertise in financial and human resources management. The HEALTH EDUCATION SECTION works closely with the branches and handles health promotion and various information, education and communication activities.
